The Smooth 9.25X is no chump, coming in at around $3000 to $3500 bucks and even shipping with a built in speaker system. The 9.25 is one of the higher end Smooth treadmills shipping with a 3.5 continuous horsepower motor, wireless heart rate control belt, twelve preset and three user workout programs, a lifetime warranty, 400 pound weight limit, and 4-ply long-life belt and double roller bearings. The Smooth 9.25X also gets high marks in the aesthetics department.
Well it looks like the Smooth 9.25X is on yet another top list at About.com. This time the list is About's "Top 7 Quality Home Treadmills" where the Smooth 9.25X ranks number 3 out of seven. Once again not much of a review but they did have this to say "Extra long 20" x 62" treadbelt, with 6" straddle pads. Motor 3 HP continuous duty. This heavyweight treadmill, weighing 304 pounds, gives exceptional stability. User weight limit 400 pounds. Has 12 preset workouts, three custom. Comes with free heart rate monitor. Speaker system plugs into TV or audio and directs it to your ears."
Not a 9.25X review but Epinions does have 8 user reviews of the Smooth 9.2 series of treadmills giving them a 4 out of 5 star rating. In general the reviewers are happy with the 9.2's great construction, sturdiness, smoothness, ease of operation, ease of assembly, and summed up "if you are in the market for a good, quality treadmill, you should really check out the Smooth 9.2 Series!". There are also mixed reviews on Smooth's customer service and one negative opinion of the electronics in the Smooth 9.2 series of treadmills.
