The Sportcraft 4.9 is an entry level treadmill usually found in department stores like walmart, and with a price tag of a few hundred bucks. Some of the features of the Sportcraft 4.9 are a 16 x 47 inch Walking Deck, 2.25 HP motor, an incline which is manual and accomodates 3 positions, and the ability to track time, calories, distance, and pulse. The Sportcraft 4.9 also has the ability to fold to an uprite position to save space.

Mark writes us "The Sportcraft 4.9 is a perfect price for a walking treadmill in the house, if that's all you plan to do: walk. The heart monitor that is supposed to check your pulse is nice if it works, but it never does so it's wasted space. The walking space is a little narrow and forces you to pay attention to your footing if you get going faster. After running on the Sportcraft 4.9 treadmill for 3 months the belt began to get warped slightly and started slipping. Even after many attempts to adjust the belt, it still slips. But even after 6 months of ownership now, and heavy use, if anybody in the family wants to take a brisk walk on the sportcraft, she's still working. A good budget treadmill if all you plan to do is walk."
